ENGLISH

INGUNN TENNØE (1989) is a classical pianist from Oslo (Norway) with background from The Norwegian Academy of Music and Manhattan School of Music. In the autumn of 2019 she moved back to Oslo after four years in Cambridge (UK) where she ran a successful music school and worked as a musician.

Her concerts are personal and energetic. With a background in classical music, storytelling and singing, she makes the classical concert into a new experience.

Ingunn also writes her own songs inspired by jazz, folk and classical music. She likes to call them improvisations.

She plays in the ensemble DUO I&K that focus on alternative and new ways of thinking as classical duo, with a vision to reach a broader audience.

Ingunn has a long experience of creating and playing classical concerts for children. Her strong passion is to share music, and beside performing, she is a sought- after piano teacher. Since 2019, she has been teaching at schools like Barratt Due Musikkinstitutt  and Lillestrøm kulturskole.
